Pastor Marlin Lynch III

Pastor Marlin firmly believes that our primary purpose in life is to help others.  His  personal motto is that, "We need each other to survive."  Marlin was born and raised in Detroit, MI and grew up in a very rough environment.  Throughout his life, he escaped through football.  As an All-State football player and graduate of St. Martin Deporres High School, former football player at Indiana University and Alabama State, former football coach at Urbana & Tiffin Universities, former Atlanta Falcons' Equipment Assistant Intern, and current football referee, football played an integral part in every phase of Marlin’s life.  Here it is again helping him to advance the Kingdom of God here on earth.

In his 34 years of life, God blessed Pastor Marlin with some awesome experiences and opportunities which resulted in major accomplishments.  While all are definitely important to him, his most important accomplishments are being a husband, father, and Christian.  Marlin is married to his beautiful wife, Kaletta Lynch and they have two beautiful daughters: KaNiyah and Kennedy.  In April 2007, Marlin accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church (Detroit, MI), under the leadership of Pastor Wilma Roberta Johnson.  Marlin accepted his call into the ministry in May 2011 at Ambassadors for Christ Christian Center (Lithonia, GA), under the leadership of Pastor Priscilla S. Moody.  He also earned his license and ordination from Ambassadors for Christ Christian Center.  Pastor Marlin’s favorite scripture is John 15:13.

The mission of Kingdom Huddle is to provide spiritual guidance, based on the gospel of Jesus Christ, so that members can execute the play that God has called for their lives.  Teachings in the huddle are presented in practical ways so that members can immediately apply lessons learned to their daily life.  The huddle focuses on the full person (i.e. body, mind, and spirit) and is a safe space where all are welcome to share and dialogue.  The goal of the Huddle is for those involved to reflect on the play that God has called for their life, and act to positively transform themselves and their surroundings.

The Huddle is a faith based organization where people gather, in peace and understanding, to strengthen their minds, bodies and spirits.  Each month, we provide a safe space to learn, share, dialogue, and grow.  We host workshops, seminars, community events, and/or conferences at local venues and online.   We also partner with local charities, non profit organizations, and community programs to help provide resources to those in need.

The Huddle is a football format that Pastor Marlin Lynch III (former football player and coach, and current referee), envisioned using to reach many people where they are. We are non traditional in that we are a traveling faith based organization.  Instead of being in one central location at all times, we go to the places where people need us the most just as Jesus did when He walked the earth.

Kingdom Huddle is all about L.O.V.E.

Kingdom Huddle's messages, events, conferences, seminars, huddles, and purpose are motivated by love.  Everything that we do as a ministry is rooted in love.  The play call of love is seen in our foundational scripture, John 15:13.  It says, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friend (New International Version)."  This is what Jesus did for us.  He made the ultimate sacrifice because he loves us. He died for our sins so that we might have eternal life.  John 3:16 reassures us that, "God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

If God values us this much, we should value one another in the same regard.  We are called to love one another, despite our differences.

Kingdom Huddle L.O.V.E. is shown through:

  • Leadership
  • Obedience to God
  • Vision
